Preserving 2024

 A run down of things we preserved in 2024.  We did maple syrup, but I didn't write down how many quarts we got.  It was a pretty good year for syrup though.  Somehow I didn't mark down applesauce--we did at least one big day, maybe 30ish quarts. It wasn't a good year for me to make time to can a big bunch.


Frozen:

Mulberries: 1 gallon, 7 quarts

Strawberries: 2 gallons sliced, 14 jars sliced w/ honey

Blueberries: 2 10lb cases

Zucchini: 7 bags,grated

Zucchini butter: 5 large containers

Pesto: 2 small containers (plus more later, but not noted-also fennel pesto)

Turnips: 8 bags

Turnip greens: 1 bag

Beet greens: 4 bags

Beets: 4 bags


Canned:

Rhubarb sauce: 10 pints

Strawberry jam: 3 1/2 pints

AIP peach salted caramel: 11 1/2 pints

Peach for kids: 8 1/2 pints

Mulberry jam: 8 pints, 6 1/2 pints

Black Cap jam: 5 1/2 pints

Mulberry/Black Cap jam: 5 1/2 pints

Blueberries: 10 pints (from 10 lb box)

Pear topping: 4 pints

Carrots: 9 quarts

Green beans: 15 quarts

Corn: 30 quarts

Salsa: 13 pints

Zucchini relish: 11 pints

Tomato soup: 8 quarts

Roasted pasta sauce: 3 quarts

Stewed tomatoes: 14 quarts

Tomato sauce with basil: 2 quarts

Pickled scapes: 5 quarts, 1 pint

Dill pickles: 41 quarts

Pickled jalapenos: 4 pints, 4 small jars
